Why don’t you call it tree lopping?
Tree lopping is harmful and damaging to trees and can also cause problems for surrounding property if done by inexperienced, unqualified ‘loppers’. Can I prune a council tree?
We are unable to prune or cut down council trees without express permission being gained from the council. First get in touch with your local council, explain the problem and they will take it from there.
